The Chamber advocates on behalf of the region’s business community on critical issues at all levels of government – local, state, and federal.

Including you as a Chamber member gives us an even stronger voice with those individuals, agencies, and organizations that make the decisions and create the policies that affect you and your business.

Business Development Task Force

The Business Development Task Force mission is to offer financial and educational resources targeting the needs of new and existing businesses for the purpose of expanding and supporting the Chamber’s membership base.

Our focus is geared towards partnering with area service organizations to provide marketing and grant opportunities in the areas of:

  • Education for Your Workforce
  • Business Solutions
  • Increased Profitability
  • Access to Resources
  • Improved Productivity

Current partnerships include the Center for Women & Enterprise; MLK, Jr. Business Empowerment Center; SCORE; and the Small Business Development Center at Clark University. 

Committees and Volunteer Opportunities

Members interested in becoming more involved with the Chamber have many opportunities to volunteer on one of our committees or helping with any of our events. This is a great opportunity to serve residents and the business community while meeting fellow business professionals.
